Is free will actual?

Yes and no, to the question of whether we have free will.

I don't believe that we have free will in the sense of selecting into actuality the one path that is to be forever (from the gallery of all possible permutations). It is not a question of one thing only existing, with everything else non-actualized, for the reason that all possible futures exist. Free will is just our choosing what we wish to focus on.

I would say that free will resembles more of a neural flash within the brain. The whole pathway seems to light up at once. It is instantaneous.

Does the lightning bolt choose its path as it goes?

The expression: 'We all choose our own reality' is probably nearer to the truth, in my opinion. Therefore, free will is also an individual thing. I doubt that we co-create.
