Do we share a history?

I have vacillated between two notions: one that there is only one consciousness centre per sliver, and that the apparent coexistence of conscious beings is a trick or an illusion due to some sort of an interweaving of sliver sets. The other is that multiple localized consciousness centres may exist inside a single sliver.

I tend to regard the second option as more likely. Reason being, different charged and massed particles appear to exist simultaneously, each influencing and being influenced by many others at once (like stars in the sky).

But one thing is for sure, that every individual sliver can only have been arrived at via one unique pathway. There is no way that paths may coincidentally converge when there is an infinite number of possible differences between one sliver and the 'next'.
